Your primary mission as a Sales Associate is to bring in new clients to Provada from within the life insurance, property & casualty insurance, broker/dealer, financial planner, and accounting segments of the financial services industry. There are no geographic limitations. While we intend to hire inside sales professionals to support our clientele, you will initially be expected to manage client relationships on an ongoing basis and grow those client relationships exponentially. So not only do you have to be driven to seek out and recruit new relationships, but to succeed in this position you will also need to be able to cultivate those relationships.
Since our clients and prospects are located throughout the country, and we participate in industry trade meetings several times a year, you will be expected to spend up to 20% of your time on the road. We expect our sales associates to bring in at least $1M in new premium within the first 12 months. With a typical sales cycle of 3 to 9 months, you'll have to come out of the gate strong and you'll have the support and resources necessary to succeed.
A background in life insurance or at least in the financial services industry is important. Comfort with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office is important to get you off to a quick start. But above all, you must have a strong desire to succeed, work intelligently while working hard, fully understand and believe in our business model, and be devoted to clients while being a helpful member of the Provada team.
